Dr. Uday Gupta is a medical student who has just passed his final MBS. He lives in Bhopal with his widowed mother Shobha, an aspiring chef who wants to succeed in her cooking channel on social media, and his best friend Chadi, who is preparing for her civil service exam. . 

Uday was inspired by his distant cousin Dr. Ashok Gupta, to Get a degree in Orthopedic Surgery. However, his performance in the entrance exam was not good enough to study orthopedic surgery in Bhopal. Uday, not wanting to leave his mother and move to another city for his studies, reluctantly chose gynecology, the best option available in Bhopal. Ashok also advises Uday to seize this opportunity. At the same time, Ms. Uday can continue her studies for next year's entrance exam. Uday meets Kavya Sharma, a high school student who is also an aspiring doctor and is in love with Ashok.

Uday's introduction to gynecology got off to a bad start. A strict doctor who is the head of the department. Nandini Srivastav is ten days late for class and quickly becomes frustrated because all his colleagues are women. Uday blames her predicament on her ex-lover, Ruti, and is instigated by Ashok into drunkenly calling her to vent her frustrations. Uday finally understood his duty as a doctor to his patients. As a result of the investigation, the testimony of Uday's colleagues cleared his name. But Nandini remains unimpressed.

Uday tries to confess his love to Fatima over dinner, but the arrival of Shobha complicates matters and Fatima storms off and leaves. Meanwhile, Ashok gets Kavya pregnant and she has to have an abortion. Ashok himself, a prominent doctor, married and father of two children, was also unable to go to the hospital with Kavya and asked Uday to take her. 

Studies have shown that Kavya suffers from placenta previa, making it difficult to have an abortion. When Uday asks him to perform the operation himself, Nandini refuses, arguing that she should inform her family first as it could endanger Kavya's life. Ashok asks Uday to keep Kavya at her home for the time being and the two hit it off. 

Kavya tells him that when Ashok calls Uday and encourages him to scold Ruthi, she begins to doubt Ashok's character. Uday is ashamed of his past actions.

On the day of her engagement, Ashok calls Uday and tells him to bring Kavya to his clinic as he has "found a solution for her". Uday arrives home and is shocked to find Shobha partying with an elderly man he does not know.
